Class Overview
Building Confidence with English - Key Stage 2 Lower Primary
This fun and engaging class is designed to help children in Key Stage 2 (Ages 7 – 9 yrs), who are learning English as an additional language. Based on the British curriculum, the lessons focus on developing all areas of English proficiency:
- Speaking and Listening: Through games, activities, and discussions, students build confidence in using English for everyday situations.
- Reading: A variety of exciting texts, from stories and poems to non-fiction, expose students to new vocabulary and improve reading comprehension.
- Writing: Students learn to write clear and grammatically correct sentences, progressing to short stories and reports.
The lessons are designed to be interactive and cater to different learning styles. Tutors use visuals, real-life examples, and technology to make learning engaging.
