This Copyright Policy ("Policy") explains how Tutortech Ltd. ("Tutortech", "we", or "us") handles intellectual property rights associated with our Services (website, learning platform, mobile apps, etc.). This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service ("TOS").
1. Ownership of Content
- The content on our Services, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, and other materials (collectively, "Content") is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- This Content is owned by Tutortech or its licensors.

- Students and Tutors may upload content to our Services, such as lesson materials, assignments, and forum posts (collectively, "User-Generated Content").
- You retain usage rights to your User-Generated Content. By uploading User-Generated Content, you grant Tutortech a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute your User-Generated Content on our Services.
3. Fair Use
- You may use copyrighted materials from our Services under the doctrine of fair use, such as for criticism, commentary, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research.

- A statement that the information in the Notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner whose exclusive right is allegedly infringed.
6. Compliance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act (CDPA)

7. Consequences of Copyright Infringement
- We may, in our sole discretion, remove or disable access to any content that we believe infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- We may also take legal action against users who repeatedly infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

This Copyright Policy aligns with the Tutortech TOS in the following ways:
- Both documents emphasise respecting intellectual property rights (TOS 15 and Policy 1).
- Both outline user responsibilities regarding content (TOS 5 and Policy 2).
- Both detail consequences for violating intellectual property rights (TOS 16 and Policy 7).
