TutorTech User Code of Conduct

Welcome to TutorTech.

We want TutorTech to be a safe, respectful and useful place to learn, teach and share educational content. This Code explains the behaviour we expect from everyone using the platform.

It applies to Customers, Students, Tutors, Educator Creators, Resource Hub users, Affiliates and anyone using TutorTech features, including Courses, Channels, Q&A, comments and private microsites.

1. Be respectful and keep people safe

  • · Treat other people with respect.
  • · Do not harass, bully, threaten, groom, exploit or discriminate.
  • · Respect professional boundaries between adults and children.
  • · Report safeguarding concerns promptly rather than trying to investigate them yourself.

2. Use TutorTech for genuine educational purposes

TutorTech is designed to support learning and education.

Please do not:

  • · use TutorTech for fraud, spam, unauthorised commercial solicitation or recruitment;
  • · bypass TutorTech payments, fees, access controls or safeguarding processes;
  • · scrape or harvest user information;
  • · share account credentials or paid subscription access with people who are not authorised to use them.

3. Courses, Channels and community features

If you post questions, comments or content, keep it relevant, lawful and suitable for the intended audience.

  • · Do not post personal contact details, home addresses, school locations or other unnecessary identifying information.
  • · Do not ask a child to contact you through personal email, phone, WhatsApp, social media or another off-platform channel.
  • · Do not promise release schedules, outcomes or support levels that you cannot reasonably provide.
  • · Do not manipulate subscriber counts, reviews, ratings or engagement metrics.
  • · Respect moderation decisions and do not try to evade account restrictions.

4. Respect copyright and other people's work

Upload or publish only material you created or are lawfully allowed to use.

  • · Do not copy paid resources, textbooks, exam materials, images, video or audio without permission.
  • · Do not resell or redistribute paid Course, Channel or Resource Hub content outside the licence you received.
  • · Do not use TutorTech or Creator content to train AI models or build datasets unless a licence or written agreement expressly allows it.
  • · If you publish AI-assisted content, you remain responsible for its accuracy, originality, age-appropriateness and rights compliance, and you must disclose AI use where TutorTech requires it.

5. Academic integrity

TutorTech must not be used to impersonate a Student, complete assessed work dishonestly, facilitate cheating or misrepresent authorship.

Tutors and Educators may teach, explain, coach and provide practice materials, but they must not help a Student engage in academic misconduct.

6. Respect privacy

  • · Do not share another person's information without a lawful reason or appropriate permission.
  • · Do not record or screenshot child-facing sessions or communications unless TutorTech has expressly authorised it.
  • · Do not use subscriber or Student information for off-platform marketing.
  • · Do not try to identify individual users from aggregated analytics.

8. What happens if this Code is broken

The action we take will depend on the seriousness of the issue. TutorTech may warn a user, remove content, restrict features, reverse payments where the applicable terms allow it, suspend or terminate an account, or refer a matter to the appropriate authorities.

This Code should be read with the TutorTech Terms of Service, Safeguarding Policy, Data Privacy Policy, Payment and Cancellation Policy, Resource Hub, Courses & Channels Terms & Conditions, Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy, Tutor Agreement and any role-specific agreement that applies to you.
