Questions

Before you decide

How do I book a lesson?
Choose a time from Mels’s availability and book it. You will need to book at least 24 hours ahead, which gives both of you time to prepare. If nothing in the calendar suits, get in touch and ask.
When am I charged?
There is no package to buy and no minimum number of lessons. Each lesson is charged shortly before it takes place. Card details are held by our payment provider, never by the tutor, and you can remove them at any time.
What if I need to cancel or move a lesson?
Move or cancel free with 24 hours notice. Inside 24 hours the lesson is charged, because the time has been held for your child and the tutor has prepared for it.
Where do lessons take place?
Online, in the TutorTech classroom in your browser, with a shared whiteboard, screen sharing and file upload. There is nothing to install.
How do you check tutors?
Every tutor on TutorTech is a qualified educator, and we verify identity and safeguarding documents before they can teach. Whatever we have checked and confirmed for this tutor is shown at the top of this page.
How do channel subscriptions work?
A channel is a monthly subscription to everything a tutor teaches on one subject, including new lessons as they are added. Cancel any time from your account, and access runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
Are courses and resources one-off purchases?
Yes. Courses and downloadable resources are bought once and kept. They are not subscriptions and they do not renew.

Start with a single lesson with Mels.
